Poached egg and avocado

Have you ever thought to serve the poached eggs in an alternative way? Here a perfect idea for a breakfast or a brunch, that is… serving them inside an avocado. It seems to be even too simple but…The combination of flavors and compactess is really good! Plus… it looks super cute!

What did I do

a perforated ladle, towel papers, a knife, a bowl, a pot

Ingredients

Eggs: 2

Avocado: 1

Salt/pepper to taste

How did I do

First, I prepared the poached eggs.

I broke the egg on the perforated ladle and I eliminated the most liquid part of the egg white.

I reheated some water in the pot on medium heat and before it boiled, I poured slowly the egg.

I let it cook for about 3 minutes, then I dried it on the towel papers.

I repeated with the other egg.

I cut the avocado in a half, I took off the pit and I inserted the eggs.

I put salt and pepper to taste and serve.

    Geniale! Ne avrei già voglia!
    Devo solo capire meglio il discorso di eliminare la parte più liquida dell’albume, quando rompi l’uovo. Ma farò delle prove e ci riuscirò!
