A vegan yummy appetizer to start a healthy meal. Just carrots, spices and oil… in the oven. Easy and tasty! I really wanted some finger food but I also wanted something light, not to feel guilty after having eaten it… I opened the fridge of the host family I lived with, I saw carrots… and here you are! They are perfect with sauces but also alone are really tasty.

What did I use
a baking tray, a sheet of oven paper, a knife, a potato peeler, a cutting board, a silicon brush, a bowl, a spoon
Ingredients
1 big carrot, 1 teaspoon of olive oil or seeds oil ( I always prefer olive oil, maybe it’s because I am italian, but seeds oil has a lighter taste),some ground cumin, some ground cinnamon, some seasalt
How did I do
I washed and peeled the carrots first. Then I cut them in very thin slices, in diagonal so they were bigger.
I put the slices of carrots in the bowl and dressed with the oil, a pinch of salt, a pinch of cumin and a pinch of cinnamon. I mixed well with the spoon and laid them on a single layer on the baking tray.
I baked them for about 12 minutes then I turned them upsidedown and cooked for about 8 minutes more. I then let them cool and served!
Buon appetito!
