I don’t usually prepare stewed fish, because I prefer it baked in the oven, but in this case I was happily surprised: I had few tuna fillets and I didn’t have the possibility to use the oven, so I decided to prepare them in a very simple way in a pot with white wine. Few ingredients, few passages, very easy to prepare. The result was very satisfying even with a so simple preparation, so I decided to share it with you.

What did I use
a non-stick pot, a spatula
Ingredients
Tuna fillets, fresh: 2
Butter: 1 teaspoon
White wine: half a glass
Salt/pepper
Mixed herbs, minced (like terragon, marjoram, parsley…): 2 spoons
How did I do
I melted the butter at medium fire and stewed the tuna fillets on both sides for few minutes.
I put wine, lowered the fire and finished the cooking with the lid.
After about 10 minutes, I controlled if it’s ready and spreaded with herbs.
I served warm.
I decorated it with some minced parsley and combined it with fresh tomatoes and mixed pickled vegetables.
Buon appetito!
