Coffee french toast with Skyr and white chocolate

Extra delicious comfort food for breakfast or as a dessert; this espresso french toasts is yummy and not so “unhealthy”as it seems. In fact the only really caloric and non-healthy ingredient here is white chocolate, but one can decide to make an healthier version with dark chocolate if one wants.

What did I use

a spoon, a non-stick pan, a spatula, paper towels, a large bowl, a whisk

Ingredients

4 slices of whole grain bread with seeds

2 cups of espresso coffee

2 spoons of milk

1 egg

1 teaspoon of honey

Seeds oil as required

4 spoons of vanilla Skyr

white chocolate’s fleaks

How did I do

I beat the egg with espresso, milk and honey.

I reheated the seeds oil in the pan . I put the slices of bread in the espresso and egg mixture and fried them both sides when the oil is hot. I let the slices dry and cool a little on the paper towels.

I served lukewarm with the Skyr, the white chocolate and some fresh berries.
