These quinoa and chickpeas fried burgers are a perfect finger food for a vegan aperitif or brunch; it is also gluten- free for people intolerant to gluten.
Time of preparation
30 minutes
Servings
8 hamburgers of little-medium sizes
What did I use
A little non-stick pan, a non-stick pan, a spatula, a large bowl, a spoon, a fork
Ingredients
130 gr of quinoa
130 gr of can chickpeas, dried
1 medium-sized carrot
1 tablespoon of mix of flours without gluten
salt/pepper/curry to taste
Seeds oil as required
How did I do
I covered the quinoa and the peeled and cut in pieces carrot with boiling water and let it boil for about 12 minutes, until the quinoa absorbed all the water. I let it cool.
In the bowl I mashed the chickpeas with the fork. I added the quinoa and the carrots and I mixed well. I added the spices and then the flours without gluten.
With the hands I formed hamburgers of little-medium size.
I reheated plenty of oil in the pan and when it was hot I fried for few minutes my vegan gluten free hamburgers, until they were brownish on both sides.
I served hot.
Buon appetito!
