Half whole grain super soft and sweet buns perfect for hot dogs but also for any kind of sandwich…or even to eat alone!Let’s start.
Time of preparation
30 minutes + growing
Servings
6 buns
What did I use
a large bowl, a kneading board, plastic wrap, baking paper, a large baking tray, a knife
Ingredients
250 gr 00 flour
250 gr whole grain flour mixed with 0 flour
2 eggs
150 gr warm water
150 gr warm milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon and a half salt
2 tablespoons of seeds oil + as required
2 tablespoons of dry yeast
How did I do
I mixed together sugar, salt and flours.
I beat the eggs with water and milk and I poured it in the bowl with the dry ingredients.
I kneaded with the hands for about 10 minutes, adding flour when necessary (usually about 4/5 tablespoons). Slightly oiled the bowl and I put the dough in it. I covered with some plastic wraps and let it grow in a warm place for about one hour.
With the rolling pin, I stretched out the dough on the kneading board sprinkled with some flour and I cut it in 6 parts. I formed the cylinders and I flattened them with hands. I covered again with the wraps and I let it grow for another half an hour.
I preheated the oven at 180°C.
I cooked for about 15 minutes.
I let them cool a little, I ate some of them alone and I cut some in a half and filled as one like the most.
Buon appetito!
