What do you need

a cutting board, a knife, a large pot, a colander, a little non-stick pan, a whisk, a large spoon or ladle, a potato peeler

Ingredients

Short pasta (better if little because it takes less to cook and children like it more): about 300 gr

Hotdog: 3

Carrots, small: 3

Heavy cream: 2 glasses

Flour: 2 spoons

Ground nutmeg to taste

Salt/pepper to taste

Directions

Peel the carrots, take off the extremities and cut them in very thin slices.

Boil them in salted boiling water for about 10 minutes. Control the cooking.

Cut in thin slices also the hotdogs and boil them together with the short pasta (if you use the little one you can boil them at the same time, if you use the normal-sized, add the hotdogs when the pasta is 4 minutes before ready).

Dry everything in the colander.

In the non-stick pan whisk the flour with the cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Let it boil for 1 minute and dress the pasta with it.

Serve immediately!

You can reheat this pasta if some remains. Add a little of fresh cream when you reheat it to make it creamy again.

Buon appetito!
