A tasty and super creamy side dish made with already cooked sauerkrauts. Simple and fast, it has a sweet and savoury taste.

What did I use
a pot with its lid, a large bowl, a colander, a spoon, a knife, a cutting board
Ingredients
250 gr of sauerkrauts, already cooked, dried
2 big red peppers (or 4 small)
50 gr of sweet mustard
20 gr of honey
2 spoons of almond flour
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
50 gr of ground cheese
Olive oil as required
How did I do
I boiled the pepper in the pan with plenty of salted water after having done few cuts in the upper part of it with the knife , at medium heat, covered with the lid until tender about 10 minutes).
I cut the upper part of the pepper following the cut I made before, I took off the seeds and I let it dry for few minutes upside down on the cutting board.
In the bowl, I mixed the sauerkrauts with the mustard, the flour, the honey, the egg, salt and pepper and the cheese.
I filled the pepper with the sauerkrauts and put it in the baking tray slightly oiled. I poured a little more oil on it and cooked at 200 °C for about 15 minutes.
I served warm.
(It is even better to prepare it few hours before and reheat it so that the mixture of sauerkrauts is more compact.)
Buon appetito!
Gotta make me one or two oooh
