Peaches en papillote

I am slowly trying all the fruit that I have in my hands en papillote, I love this simple comfortable method, and I really like the fact that all the flavors remain so intense because they are “trapped” in the aluminium. This is an easy and fast way to make a tasty snack, healthy and yummy.

What did I use

a teaspoon, aluminium sheets, a knife, a grilled, a cutting board

Ingredients

1 ripe peach

1 tablespoon of orange juice

1 teaspoon of orange peel

1 teaspoon of sugar

few drops of vanilla extract

How did I do

I washed the peach and I cut in slices, not too thin.

I sprinkled with sugar and orange peel. I poured the juice and the vanilla. I closed well the aluminium and I cooked on the hot grilled for few minutes each side.

The time of cooking of course depends on how ripe is the fruit. The peaches have to be soft but not melted! Mine were quite ripe so they didn’t take much time to have the right consistence.

I served the peaches lukewarm.
