This is the basic recipe I use to prepare porridge, both sweet and savory. Served with Skyr and honey it is a healthy, yummy and energetic dish to start in a good way your day!

What did I use
a little non-stick pot, a wooden spoon, a spoon
Oat flakes: 50/75 gr
Water or milk: 350 gr ( I usually use water when I serve it with other ingredients, but if I want to eat it in its easiest version, like in this case, I use milk to have it more creamy)
Salt: a pinch
White greek yoghurt or Skyr: 1 spoon
Milk as required
Honey: 1 spoon
How did I do
In the non-stick pot I let the oat fleaks boil with milk and salt at slow fire and I cooked for about 4 minutes, mixing often and being careful not to let the oat fleaks stick on the bottom of the pot. I turnrf off the fire and let it stand for 2 minutes.
In the bowl, I mixed the Skyr with a little milk to make it more creamy.
I served porridge with greek yoghurt and honey.
