Oven baked sandwich with almonds and hazelnut cream

This morning I prepared myself this tasty oven baked sandwich, an alternative, simple and fast way for a tasty breakfast, unpretending but crunchy and delicious.

What did I use

a bowl, a spoon, a baking tray, a sheet of baking paper, a knife


Whole bread: 2 slices

Hazelnut cream: 1 tablespoon

Milk: 4 tablespoons

Almonds, fleaks: 2 tablespoons

Sugar: 2 tablespoons

Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon

How did I do

I pre-heated the oven at 180°C.

In the bowl, I mixed the milk with the vanilla extract and the cinnamon. I added the almond fleaks and I mixed.

I filled the slices of bread with hazelnut cream and I immersed them in the mixture of milk, cinnamon etc. I put them on the baking tray covered with baking paper, poured the remaining mixture on them and sprinkled with sugar.

I baked for about 25 minutes. I let it cool down few minutes, and I served lukewarm.
