Today I decided to share the recipe of this cake (I used a 18 cm cake mould but it would be nice in little portions as well) without baking powder; it seems a chocolate candy! A Soft and yummy cake, dark chocolate based…
Time of cooking
30 minutes + time of standing
Servings
a 18 cm cake mould
What did I use
3 little pots, one very small, one small and one medium-sized, a wooden spoon, a 18 cm cake mould, a middle-sized bowl, a whisk
Ingredients
Dark chocolate: 125 gr
Butter: 100 gr + as required
Eggs yolks: 3
Sugar: 80 gr
Minced almonds: 40 gr
Flour: 40 gr
Heavy cream: 2 spoons
Milk (possibly whole): 2 spoons
Fleaks of almonds: 20 gr
How did I do
I turned on the oven at 200°C and buttered the mould.
I melted 95 gr of chocolate and 95 gr of butter.
I beat the yolks with sugar.
I added minced almonds, flour, butter and chocolate and mixed well.
I put the dough in the mould and baked for about 18 minutes.
I let it cool.
I melted bain-Marie the remaining chocolate and mixed it with heavy cream, milk and the remaining butter.
I covered the cake with the frosting and decorated with the fleaks of almonds. I let it cool and I let it stand in the fridge for at least 3 hours before serving.
Buon appetito!
