Puffed rice and Mars cake is a classic of the super yummy and super fast cakes, but this recipe is the result(no, I’m not joking!) of many tries to find the right combination between the 3 ingredients that compose it: mars, butter and puffed rice. Here you have my mother’s version: I have to say that’s the best I’ve ever tried.
Time of cooking
10 minutes + stand
Servings
About 20 cubes
What did I use
A large pot, a wooden spoon, a knife, an oven pan
Ingredients
Chocolate puffed rice: 280 gr
Butter: 70 gr
Mars: 6
How did I do
I let butter and the mars broken with hands into pieces to melt completely at very slow fire in the pot mixing them with the wooden spoon continuously.
I turned off the fire and added the puffed rice. I mixed well fastly. I put everything in the oven pan and I flattened everything with a meat mallet giving soft beats. One can add on the surface some coconut flour if one wants.
I let it stand in the fridge and I took it out at least one hour before one eats it: it has to result soft.
I cut in cubes and served decorating, if one likes it, with chocolate topping.
Buon appetito!
