This is a simple way to keep the grilled sausages soft even if well cooked. I prepared this sweet sauce to serve them with: perfect combo! A peculiar dressing that is able to enhance the taste of grilled pork meat.
Time of preparation
about 1 hour and 15 minutes

What did I use
a blender, a cutting board, a knife, a pan, a wooden spoon, a grilled, a large bowl and some plastic wrap for the marinade, an aluminium tray
Ingredients
For the beer and apple sauce
1 apple
a knob of butter
2 glasses of beer
salt/pepper to taste
For the beer sausages
Just plenty of beer and four big sausages!
How did I do
I put the sausages in the beer and I let them stand there for about one hour.
I prepared the sauce in the meanwhile.
I cut in little cubes the apple and I stewed it in the pan with butter and laurel. When the apples were brownish, I poured in the beer and I made it boil, then I turned off the fire, I let everything cool down and I put in the blender with a little salt and pepper until creamy and smooth.
I cooked then the beer sausages.
I dried them, keeping the beer in which I put the sausages before, and I grilled them for 2-3 minutes per side.
I poured the beer in the aluminium tray and I cooked in it the sausages for 3 minutes more.
I put them again on the grilled, I cooked them 2-3 minutes per side again until well brownish and I served hot with some pork chops (that I cooked on the grilled after having marinated them in a mixture of red wine and flavors) and the apple sauce.
Buon appetito!
