A perfect idea for aperitif or parties, these savory biscuits well combine with homemade sauces, cheese, fish… but they are also good alone, because of the tasty presence of hard italian cheese.
Time of preparation
30 minutes + standing
Servings
10-15 biscuits
What did I use
a large bowl, plastic wrap, rolling pin, biscuits moulds, a brush, a baking tray, baking paper
Ingredients
100 gr of Grana Padano or Parmesan or Pecorino (or a mix of them), minced
100 gr of white flour
100 gr of butter
1 egg
salt to taste
How did I do
I mixed the cheese with the flour, I added the butter chopped in pieces and a pinch of salt and I kneaded with my fingertips until I had a compact dough.
I added the egg yolk and continued to knead until smooth. I kept the egg white for the surface.
I let the dough stand for about 30 minutes.
I stretched the dough and I cut the biscuits with the biscuits moulds. I spreaded the egg white on the surface, I put the biscuits in the baking tray with baking paper and I cooked in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 200 °C.
I wait for them to cool down and I served them with homemade sauces and vegetables.
Buon appetito!
