Vegan hamburger buns

Super soft hamburger buns, vegan friendly and easy and fast to prepare, perfect to fill with your favorite vegan burgers.

What did I use

kneading machine, a baking paper, a baking tray, a rag

Ingredients

600 gr of flour

7 gr of dried yeast

2 teaspoons of brown sugar + 40 gr

250 ml lukewarm water

125 gr of white soy yoghurt

100 ml oil

a teaspoon of salt

coconut milk as required

sesamseeds and flaxseeds as required

How did I do

In the machine, I mixed all the ingredients together except the seeds and the coconut milk for about 10 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic. I covered it with a rag and let it grow for about two hours.

I divided the dough in 12 parts and formed my buns. I put them in a baking tray covered with baking paper and I let them grow cover with a rag for other 20 minutes, while I reheated the oven. I covered them with coconut oil with the brush and sprinkled with the seeds.

I cooked at 180 °C in the oven for about 25 minutes, or until brownish at the surface,  and I let them cool down for few minutes before cutting and filling.
