Fast chickpeas and jalapeños hummus

 

You can have hundreds of different variations of the classic hummus, if you use your creativity! In this case I had a spicy and tasty one, perfect to eat with every kind of bread. I served it with some homemade whole bread, warm from the oven. Spectacular!

a blender

Ingredients

Chickpeas in can, dried: 240 gr

Pickled Jalapeños : about 100 gr

Lemon pepper, or ground pepper and the peel of half a lemon (minced)

Olive oil: 1 spoon + as required

Minced parsley: 1 spoon

Salt to taste

How did I do

I blended everything together until I had a soft cream, adding the oil little by little as a last ingredient.

I kept few slices of Jalapeños to decorate the final dish.

I added some fresh oil and some more pepper.
